About The Position

Red Hill Animal Health Center is seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician (RVT) to join their AAHA-accredited, 3-doctor hospital. In addition to the veterinary hospital, the center operates a busy boarding kennel and grooming center. They prioritize exceptional patient care by fostering a happy, healthy team environment that supports professional and personal growth. The role offers a four-day work week with no weekends, nights, on-call shifts, or holiday hours, emphasizing work-life balance and opportunities for outdoor adventures.

Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent nursing care and patient support throughout the hospital
  • Assist veterinarians during examinations, treatments, and procedures
  • Support surgical and dental procedures, including anesthesia monitoring
  • Collect diagnostic samples and assist with laboratory testing
  • Administer treatments and medications as directed
  • Educate clients on patient care, treatment plans, and preventative medicine
  • Maintain accurate medical records and patient documentation
  • Collaborate with the veterinary team to provide exceptional patient and client care
