We are seeking a compassionate, skilled, and dedicated Veterinary Technician to join our emergency team. The ideal candidate is a quick thinker, thrives under pressure, and has experience in emergency care. Requirements

  • 1-2 years in veterinary or emergency care
  • Excellent veinous puncture skills
  • Comfortable floating between departments when needed
  • Comfortable with anesthesia

Nice To Haves

  • RVT preferred but not required

Responsibilities

  • Triage and Assess: Prioritize incoming patients and assess their condition.
  • Emergency Care: Provide treatments, assist with CPR, wound care, fluids, and surgery prep.
  • Diagnostics: Perform bloodwork, urinalysis, imaging, and other essential tests.
  • Patient Monitoring: Track vitals, document changes, and respond to needs promptly.
  • Medication & Anesthesia: Administer medications, assist with anesthesia, and ensure safe recovery.
  • Client Communication: Update pet owners and provide clear discharge instructions.
  • Maintain Supplies & Records: Stock equipment, maintain cleanliness, and document care.
