About The Position
VCA Valley Veterinary Animal Hospital in Lower Burrell, PA is seeking a Part-Time Veterinary Technician/Assistant to join their one-of-a-kind GP practice. They are looking for a self-motivated and compassionate person to work on their team on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and one Saturday a month. The hospital has been serving the Lower Burrell/New Kensington area for over 30 years, is AHAA accredited, and provides the best possible care to patients. It is a fast-paced general practice that also sees emergencies. Experience is preferred.
Requirements

- Ability to perform physical examinations and patient assessment.
- Ability to monitor anesthesia.
- Ability to prepare for and assist in surgeries.
- Ability to perform dentistry.
- Ability to perform radiology.
- Ability to perform laboratory work.
- Ability to perform venipuncture.
- Ability to perform catheter placement.
- Ability to manage pharmacy.
- Ability to oversee patient recovery.
- Ability to provide compassionate care of hospitalized animals.
