About The Position
Jackson Creek Animal Hospital is welcoming a Veterinary Technician (or RVT) to join our team of skilled veterinary professionals. While our network is large, we still offer that local community feeling, mentorship, and additional training! The primary role of the RVT is to provide quality patient care by assisting the Veterinarian and staff of the clinic/hospital. The doctor’s primary medical support person, aids Veterinarians in achieving greater efficiency by relieving them of some aspects of their technical work and administrative detail. Responsible for ensuring patients and their families are provided with optimum care in an efficient manner. Working under the supervision of the Veterinarian for medical decisions.
Requirements
- Ability to problem-solve or the ability to ask clarifying questions to help you find solutions.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills in working with your colleagues and pet parents.
- Have completed a Veterinary Technician or Animal Health Technician program.
- New graduates with knowledge of physical examinations, patient assessment, catheter placement, anesthesia monitoring, radiology, venipuncture, and pharmacy - welcome to apply!
