Requirements

• 3 years or more of Veterinary Technician Experience
• Knowledge of industry tools and equipment
• Experience working with veterinary tools and equipment
• Passion for working with animals and their owners
• Solid understanding of animal behavior and healthcare
• Experience with proper animal handling, fear-free training, and restraint
• Ability to learn common treatments and processes normally found in a veterinary hospital setting
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Team player

Responsibilities

• Rooming patients
• Surgical assisting
• Drawing blood and running bloodwork
• Knowledge of x-rays and proper positioning
• Proper animal handling and restraint
• Client education
• Being a positive and motivating team member
