Requirements

Previous veterinary technician experience required
Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) credential preferred
Strong technical and patient care skills
Experience with anesthesia monitoring and diagnostics preferred
Excellent communication and client service abilities
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Positive attitude and commitment to teamwork
Dedication to continued learning and professional development

Responsibilities

Provide compassionate nursing care to patients
Obtain patient histories and perform patient assessments
Examine animals and obtain vital signs in preparation for the veterinarian
Take and process diagnostic radiographs
Administer medications and treatments as directed
Draw blood samples and assist with diagnostic testing
Monitor anesthesia and surgical patients
Assist veterinarians during exams, treatments, and procedures
Maintain accurate medical records and support daily hospital operations
Educate clients on treatment plans, medications, and preventive care
