We are seeking a compassionate, motivated, and team-oriented Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) or Experienced Veterinary Technician Assistant to join our growing hospital. The RVT/Veterinary Assistant plays a vital role in providing exceptional patient care, client education, and contributing to a positive and collaborative hospital culture.
Requirements
- Licensed RVT, Experienced Veterinary Technician or Assistant with at least 2 years of clinical experience
- Strong technical skills (blood collection, catheter placement, anesthesia monitoring, radiology and lab procedures)
- Surgical and Dentistry assisting experience
- Top-notch communication and client education skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude and willingness to support teammates
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
Responsibilities
- Assist veterinarians with examinations, treatments, diagnostics, and procedures.
- Collect patient histories and assist with client education
- Perform lab sample collection and in-house diagnostic testing
- Assist with radiographs, dentistry, surgery prep, and anesthesia monitoring
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by veterinarian
- Prepare exam rooms and treatment areas wile maintaining hospital cleanliness and organization
- Support hospital operations and contribute to a positive team culture
