Creekside Animal Hospital is searching for an experienced Veterinary Technician to join our fast-paced, team-oriented small animal practice! Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of Veterinary Technician experience
- Strong patient care and technical skills
- Experience with anesthesia monitoring and surgical support
- Confidence performing blood draws, catheter placement, radiographs, and patient restraint
- Excellent multitasking and communication abilities
- Positive attitude and willingness to jump in where needed
- Dependability, professionalism, and initiative
- Compassion for patients, clients, and coworkers
- Desire to continue learning and growing professionally
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate nursing care and support during appointments and procedures
- Monitor anesthesia and assist with surgical and dental procedures
- Perform blood draws, catheter placement, radiographs, and patient restraint
- Support patient care and maintain efficient hospital workflow
- Communicate effectively with clients and veterinary team members
- Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation
- Assist doctors and teammates wherever needed throughout the day
- Deliver high-quality patient care while remaining efficient in a fast-paced environment
