About The Position
Dr. Norm’s Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician who is passionate about animal care, client education, and teamwork. This role involves assisting veterinarians with examinations, treatments, and surgical procedures, performing laboratory tests and diagnostics, taking and processing radiographs, administering medications, monitoring anesthesia and patient recovery, maintaining medical records, educating clients, restraining patients, caring for hospitalized patients, and maintaining hospital cleanliness. Requirements
- Previous Veterinary Technician experience required
- Strong technical and patient care skills
- Experience with anesthesia monitoring and surgical support
- Knowledge of laboratory diagnostics and radiology

Responsibilities
- Assist veterinarians during examinations, treatments, and surgical procedures
- Perform in-house Idexx laboratory testing and diagnostics
- Take and process digital radiographs
- Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed
- Monitor anesthesia and patient recovery to ensure patient safety and comfort
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient medical records
- Educate clients on preventive care, treatment plans, and nutrition
- Safely restrain patients during exams and procedures
- Care for hospitalized patients and monitor their well-being
- Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the hospital
