Requirements
- Venipuncture
- Peripheral IV catheter placement
- Anesthesia induction, monitoring, and recovery
- CRIs and medical math
- Ventilator use
- Surgical scrub and sterile technique
- Monitoring abnormal pressures and patient trends
- IV fluid pumps and anesthetic equipment
- NG/NE tube placement
- Recognizing abnormal heart and lung sounds
- Advanced patient monitoring and nursing care

Responsibilities
- Providing exceptional nursing care to surgical patients
- Monitoring anesthesia and patient recovery
- Placing and maintaining peripheral IV catheters
- Setting up and troubleshooting fluid therapy equipment
- Administering CRIs and fluid therapy
- Monitoring patient response and recognizing complications early
- Maintaining sterility and surgical standards
- Collaborating closely with surgeons and specialty teams
- Performing detailed patient assessments and physical exams
