About The Position
VCA Palm Beach Veterinary Specialists is seeking an experienced Certified Veterinary Technician to join our Surgery teams at out 24-hour Emergency & Critical Care service. Compensation: $24 - $28 / hr based on skill set, experience, and licensure stauts. Scheduling: Full time, (4) ten hour shifts. As an experienced Veterinary Assistant, we want you to use your skills and knowledge to the fullest. Skills that you will be utilizing include, but are not limited to: Compassionate patient care, Patient assessment and triage, Client education and care, Hospitalization/ICU care, Anesthesia induction and monitoring, Surgical preparation and assisting, Radiology, Laboratory sample collection and diagnostic testing, Venipuncture, catheterization, Pharmacy, Medical record keeping. We are seeking veterinary technicians with experience in emergency or specialty medicine, or several years of experience in general practice. Flexible schedule will include some weekends and holidays. Pay is competitive, based on level of skill, experience, relevant education and credentials.
