About The Position
Destination Pet is seeking a highly skilled Veterinary Technician Specialist (VTS) in Surgical or Anesthesia/Analgesia to work alongside their Boarded Surgeon. This role involves supporting complex surgical cases, managing advanced anesthesia protocols, and contributing to the training and development of the clinical support team. The VTS will be instrumental in providing top-tier patient care and elevating the surgical team’s standards. Surgeries include general and emergency soft-tissue, orthopedic, and neurologic procedures. Destination Pet is a national network of pet-obsessed professionals dedicated to elevating the love and lives of pet families through total pet care, integrating services from veterinary medicine to grooming, boarding, daycare, and training.

- Highly skilled VTS (Surgical or Anesthesia/Analgesia)
- Credentialed technician
Responsibilities
- Provide top-tier patient care alongside a board-certified surgeon.
- Manage complex surgical cases.
- Oversee advanced anesthesia protocols.
- Play a key role in the training and development of the clinical support team.
- Support general and emergency soft-tissue, orthopedic, and neurologic procedures.
