Veterinary Technician (RVT) or Experienced Veterinary Assistant
About The Position
Panorama Pet Hospital is hiring an experienced or credentialed Veterinary Technician. This is a full-time position with a salary range of $22.00 – $30.00 per hour, depending on the role and experience. The schedule is Monday–Friday with rotating Saturdays, and there are no nights or holidays. Panorama Pet Hospital is a one-doctor small animal hospital that handles a variety of cases, including dentistry, surgery, urgent care, and wellness visits. Requirements
- RVT license (for technician role) or relevant veterinary assistant experience
- Strong technical and patient care skills (appropriate to role)
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Positive, team-oriented attitude with strong communication skills
- Commitment to continued learning and professional growth
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of anesthesia, surgery support, and diagnostics (RVTs preferred)
Responsibilities
- Assist with exams, treatments, surgery, and dental procedures
- Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed (RVTs)
- Perform or assist with venipuncture, catheter placement, and lab work (role-dependent)
- Take radiographs and support diagnostic procedures
- Monitor anesthesia and patient recovery (RVT) / support patient care (Assistants)
- Provide compassionate patient care and client education
- Maintain accurate medical records and support daily hospital operations
- Practice fear-free, low-stress handling techniques
