About The Position

Pieper Veterinary is seeking a Veterinary Technician or Assistant to join their Radiology Department at Pieper Memorial, a VECCS Level 1 Certified Hospital in Middletown, CT. The position can be tailored to either a Veterinary Technician or a Veterinary Assistant, with responsibilities adjusted based on skills and experience. Requirements

Prior experience working in a veterinary setting, ideally in an ER setting.
Experience in handling animals and performing basic animal care tasks.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients and team members.
Ability to multi-task and remain organized in a fast-paced environment.
Compassion and patience when handling animals.
Basic knowledge of animal behavior and medical terminology.
Experience with common induction agents/anesthetic agents/analgesia agents.
Must be 18 years or older to apply.
