About The Position

We are growing our Internal Medicine team at BluePearl Pet Hospital in Charlestown, MA, and are seeking a detail-oriented + compassionate Veterinary Technician to join us! This position is offering a sign-on bonus of up to $5,000. Schedule: Weekdays, 4x10 hour shifts, + some on-call expectations. Pay: $24.25 - $49.00 / hour. This pay band is dependent on experience and advancement through our competency assessment tool.

Responsibilities

• Set up constant rate infusions (CRI).
• Calculate all medical math.
• Induce, monitor, and recover anesthesia.
• Set up for ultrasound and radiology procedures.
• Set up and assist with endoscopic procedures (GI, nasal, urinary, airway).
• Clean and maintain equipment following procedure.
• Discharge IM patients from the hospital, including basic client education such as insulin injection, SQ fluid, and feeding tube demonstrations.
• Other additional job duties as assigned.
