Join a Growing Specialty & Emergency Hospital Team Dedicated to Surgical Excellence, Precision, and Patient Care. At Allied Veterinary Specialists (AVS), we believe exceptional surgical outcomes begin long before a patient enters the operating room. They begin with preparation, organization, precision, and an unwavering commitment to excellence. As our Specialty & Emergency hospitals continue to grow throughout Northeast Florida, we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Veterinary Technician Instrument Manager to oversee the care, organization, sterilization, inventory, and quality management of our surgical instrumentation across our Orange Park and Jacksonville (E-Town) hospitals. This unique position is ideal for an experienced Surgery Veterinary Technician who enjoys organization, precision, and becoming an expert in one of the most important aspects of specialty surgery. Our culture is rooted in: Compassion, Respect, Education, Advancement, Service. If you enjoy creating systems, maintaining the highest standards, and ensuring every surgery is set up for success, we would love to meet you. The Veterinary Technician Instrument Manager serves as the hospital's expert in surgical instrumentation management. This position is responsible for ensuring every surgical instrument, orthopedic set, specialty tray, and sterile pack is properly cleaned, inspected, assembled, sterilized, maintained, documented, and available for every procedure. Success in this role requires exceptional attention to detail, outstanding organizational skills, accountability, and a passion for continuous learning. This is not simply an instrument processing position—it is a specialized leadership support role that directly impacts patient safety, surgical efficiency, and hospital quality.
