About The Position
Metropolitan Veterinary Associates (MVA) is seeking a full-time Veterinary Technician for our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) in Norristown, PA. We offer multiple shifts with competitive pay starting at $30/hr, plus significant sign-on, relocation, and retention bonuses. Requirements
- Experience in a fast-paced emergency or ICU setting
- Skilled in monitoring, ventilator support, anesthesia, venipuncture, IV placement
- Strong communicator, works well independently and on a team
Nice To Haves
- CVT license a plus
Responsibilities
- Deliver hands-on ICU care: treatments, vitals monitoring, advanced diagnostics
- Work closely with board-certified Criticalists and ER vets
- Monitor patients closely using advanced equipment
- Communicate compassionately with pet parents
- Help train teammates and improve processes
