Requirements

  • Active California RVT license
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of veterinary nursing and patient monitoring
  • Ability to perform accurate medical calculations

Nice To Haves

  • 3+ years of emergency or critical care experience as an RVT
  • 6+ years of veterinary experience with advanced technical skills

Responsibilities

  • Triage emergency patients and document findings
  • Monitor patient vitals including ECG, blood pressure, SpO2, and temperature
  • Administer medications and emergency treatments
  • Place IV catheters and assist with procedures
  • Perform laboratory diagnostics and patient monitoring
  • Assist with emergency surgeries and treatments
  • Communicate patient updates with clients and medical team members
