About The Position

This is a hands-on, high-skill Emergency Room (ER) technician role for an experienced Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) who thrives in emergency medicine or is looking to transition from general practice to a more complex and growth-oriented environment. The position offers the opportunity to utilize advanced nursing skills at a high level within a supportive and collaborative team. Requirements

• An RVT who wants to level up in emergency medicine
• Is confident in anesthesia and patient care—but still wants to learn more

Responsibilities

• Venipuncture & IV catheter placement
• Triage, patient assessment, vitals
• Anesthesia, surgical prep & recovery
• Hospitalized patient monitoring & nursing care
• Radiographs, ECG monitoring
• Client communication & education
• Central lines
• Urinary catheters, NG tubes, nasal cannulas
• Chest tubes & feeding tubes
• Blood transfusions
• Advanced CPR (RECOVER certification provided)
