We are a 24-hour, VECCS Level 2 Certified, state-of-the-art Emergency + Specialty veterinary hospital. Like human medical specialists, VESH supports primary care veterinarians with the evaluation and treatment of pets affected by trauma, chronic issues, serious illness, or unusual disorders requiring advanced training, while also providing critical and emergency veterinary care. We offer a variety of specialty services including Advanced Imaging (CT), Internal Medicine, Surgery, Medical Oncology, and Emergency and Critical Care. Requirements

Veterinary Technician experience required; emergency or critical care experience strongly preferred
CVT/RVT/LVT preferred, but experienced non-credentialed technicians are encouraged to apply
Strong technical, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to remain calm and efficient in a fast-paced emergency environment
Passion for teamwork, patient care, and delivering exceptional client service
Ability to lift, restrain, and care for patients of varying sizes
Fluent English speaking and reading skills required

Responsibilities

Triage and assess incoming emergency patients
Assist veterinarians with diagnostics, treatments, and emergency procedures
Monitor anesthesia and sedation
Perform laboratory testing including bloodwork, urinalysis, and cytology
Administer medications and treatments as directed
Monitor hospitalized patients and communicate changes to the medical team
Deliver compassionate client communication during urgent and emotional situations
Maintain accurate medical records and support efficient workflow throughout the hospital
Collaborate closely with technicians, assistants, CSRs, and DVMs across departments
