BluePearl Pet Hospital is hiring a Dental Veterinary Technician! LVT I Pay: $22.25 - $32.00/Hr Are you a passionate technician looking to improve your skills in the veterinary field? - Unrestricted, current authorization to work in the U.S. and not require future sponsorship for an employment-based green card.

Responsibilities
- Perform oral examinations.
- Perform dental charting.
- Take dental radiographs with proper positioning and technique.
- Set up and assist with dental procedures and surgeries.
- Perform professional dental cleanings including subgingival scaling, root planning, and curettage.
- Perform effective oral nerve blocks in preparation for advanced procedures as directed by veterinarian.
- Calculate basic medical math.
- Understand classification of commonly used medications, associated side effects and appropriately monitors therapeutic response.
- Administer medications via appropriate routes and duration.
- Perform phlebotomy.
- Have the ability to place peripheral intravenous catheters.
- Perform physical exam; accurately count heart, pulse rate, capillary refill time, mucous membranes, temperature, respiratory rate and effort.
- Induce, monitor anesthesia and recover patients.
