About The Position

The Animal Rescue League of Boston (ARL), a leading animal welfare organization, is seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician to join its Community Medicine team. This role is ideal for a veterinary technician with a background in surgery who is passionate about helping animals and their owners through a high-volume, high-quality spay and neuter program. The Community Medicine team delivers medical and surgical care via mobile wellness and spay/neuter clinics, the Wellness Waggin' and Spay Waggin'. The organization, founded in 1899, is dedicated to addressing the root causes of issues facing animals and people through innovative programs and community partnerships.

Requirements

  • Experienced Veterinary Technician
  • Background in surgery

Responsibilities

  • Be involved in all aspects of patient care, including in wellness check-ups, diagnostic procedures, and HVHQSN surgery
  • Work with a close-knit medical team of Veterinarians, Veterinary Technicians, and Technician Assistants
  • Provide excellent customer service to clients utilizing our mobile programs
  • Share thoughts to improve how we deliver our best care and service
  • Help improve our services and continue to learn and grow as a team of caring animal welfare professionals
