About The Position

The Animal Rescue League of Boston (ARL), a leading animal welfare organization, is seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician to join its Community Medicine team. This role focuses on a high-volume, high-quality spay and neuter program, utilizing mobile clinics (Wellness Waggin' and Spay Waggin') to provide medical and surgical care to animals and their families within their communities. The team works collaboratively with Veterinarians, Veterinary Technicians, and Technician Assistants, emphasizing excellent customer service and continuous improvement in care delivery.

Requirements

• Experienced Veterinary Technician
• Background in surgery
• Eager to help animals and the people who care for them

Responsibilities

• Be involved in all aspects of patient care, including in wellness check-ups, diagnostic procedures, and HVHQSN surgery
• Work with a close-knit medical team of Veterinarians, Veterinary Technicians, and Technician Assistants
• Provide excellent customer service to clients utilizing our mobile programs
• Share thoughts to improve how we deliver our best care and service
• Help improve our services and continue to learn and grow as a team of caring animal welfare professionals
