About The Position

Epic Tails Veterinary Clinic is hiring two full-time Veterinary Technicians or Assistants. Requirements

  • Skilled with the technical stuff: Low-stress and fear-free restraint and handling of cats and dogs
  • Skilled with the technical stuff: Lab work, radiograph positioning and safety, injections (SQ, IV, IM), IV catheter placement, medication dispensing, and medical record maintenance, restraint for exams, and supporting veterinarians during procedures and appointments
  • Skilled with the technical stuff: Hospital maintenance, stocking, and cleanliness
  • Skilled with the soft stuff: client communication and education, conflict resolution, answering phones, and taking payments
  • Knowledgeable about common disease states and able to alert veterinarians to changes in patient conditions.
  • Able to work under pressure, in new environments
  • Interested in growing your skillset and learning new things
  • Someone who believes in welcoming clients into the medical process by educating, supporting, comforting, and treating them as individuals

  • Experience working with birds and small mammals
  • Anesthesia monitoring and administration experience
  • Motivated learner
