Requirements

Experience in a specialty or advanced general practice
Strong clinical skills
Excellent attention to detail, particularly in observing subtle changes in ocular health and documenting findings
Effective communication skills for conveying important information to the veterinary team and ensuring smooth workflow
A team-oriented attitude, thriving in collaborative settings alongside veterinarians, fellow technicians, and support staff
A passion for continuous learning, seizing every opportunity to further develop your ophthalmic knowledge

Nice To Haves

prior ophthalmology exposure is a plus

Responsibilities

Supporting and assisting specialty departments with daily patient care
Providing patient care responsibilities including husbandry, laundry, walking dogs, and cleaning cages
Restraining and handling canine and feline patients safely and confidently
Communicating clearly and professionally with clients and team members (both verbal and written)
Stocking supplies and maintaining cleanliness in treatment and diagnostic areas
Help ensure overall hospital cleanliness and organization
