Veterinary Technician Assistant, Community Medicine
About The Position
The Animal Rescue League of Boston (ARL), a leading animal welfare organization, is seeking a Veterinary Technician Assistant to join its Community Medicine team. This role is based in Dedham and involves regular work on mobile clinics. The Community Medicine team provides medical and surgical care to animals and their families within their communities through the mobile wellness and spay/neuter clinics, the Wellness Waggin' and Spay Waggin'. ARL, founded in 1899, is dedicated to helping over 20,000 animals annually through innovative programs that address the root causes of issues facing animals and people, aiming to keep pets and people together and protect animals from harm.

Responsibilities
- Be involved in all aspects of patient care, including in wellness check-ups, diagnostic procedures, and HVHQSN surgery
- Work with a close-knit medical team of Veterinarians, Veterinary Technicians, and Technician Assistants
- Provide excellent customer service to clients utilizing our mobile programs
- Share thoughts to improve how we deliver our best care and service
- Help improve our services and continue to learn and grow as a team of caring animal welfare professionals who work hard to exceed the expectations of our clients, provide exceptional care to our animals, and build a supportive and fun working environment
