About The Position
Veterinary United is looking for an overnight Veterinary Support Team/Animal Care Companion to join their team. The role involves changing veterinary medicine through ecology, teamwork, positivity, and culture, and providing the best individual and complete care to patients. Full-time and part-time positions are available.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs without restriction.
- Must be comfortable working around potentially reactive animals.
- MUST BE AVAILABLE FOR EVENINGS OR WEEKENDS WHEN NEEDED
Responsibilities
- Clean and disinfect kennels, cages, and common areas to maintain a sanitary environment.
- Wash and sanitize food and water bowls.
- Launder bedding and towels used by the animals.
- Walk, exercise, and play with animals to provide physical activity and mental stimulation.
- Greeting and assisting clients dropping off or picking up their pets.
- Provide updates to pet owners on their animal’s condition and behavior during their stay.
