About The Position
Veterinary Medical Center of CNY (VMC) is seeking a knowledgeable, organized, and client-focused Specialty Coordinator to join our team. This position serves as a critical liaison between pet owners, referring veterinarians, and our specialty services, helping ensure a seamless experience for patients requiring advanced veterinary care. This role is ideal for an experienced veterinary professional who enjoys client communication, case coordination, and being a trusted resource for both pet owners and veterinary colleagues. The Specialty Coordinator is responsible for managing specialty service inquiries, coordinating appointments and referrals, communicating with referring veterinary hospitals, and helping clients navigate the specialty care process. The successful candidate will possess strong medical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Confidently discuss specialty and emergency medicine services with clients and referring veterinary teams
- Triage and route medical inquiries appropriately
- Coordinate specialty appointments and referrals
- Communicate professionally with veterinarians, veterinary staff, and clients
- Maintain exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Work independently while collaborating effectively with clinical teams
