Veterinary Sales Associate - Downtown Seattle
About The Position
Trupanion is seeking a driven, reliable, and extremely organized individual with a passion for pets to join our team as a Veterinary Sales Associate in the Downtown Seattle area. This role involves building, maintaining, and strengthening relationships with veterinary practices. The associate will visit practices to educate hospital staff on the benefits of having insured clients and how to integrate this into their workflow. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced vet tech or practice manager. The position is part-time, requiring 15-20 hours per week, with potential for growth. Compensation includes an hourly salary and bonus incentives. Employment is contingent upon obtaining a Property and Casualty license, which involves a background check.
Requirements
- Passion for helping eliminate economic euthanasia in dogs & cats.
- Personality to build relationships with partnering veterinarian practices.
- Ability to present to hospital owners and staff with confidence.
- Pet passionate with a strong belief in the mission to provide the best care for pets.
- Able to establish and maintain good relations with customers by providing courteous, efficient, and professional service.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Innate entrepreneurial drive, embodying an attitude of persistence and patience.
- Outstanding communication and listening skills.
- Professional appearance.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel, and Word).
- Must live within the Seattle area, ideally within the Downtown Area.
- Comfortable commuting to the Downtown region throughout the week.
- Must acquire and maintain a P&C Insurance License in order to be employed.
- Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
Nice To Haves
- Sales & Marketing background a plus.
- Driver’s license record and reliable car preferred.
Responsibilities
