Requirements

  • Strong communication, team-building, and leadership skills.
  • Highly organized and able to manage time effectively.
  • 3+ years of experience managing multiple locations for a multi-site operator in the veterinary, dental, or medical industries.
  • Self-starter with the ability to take initiative in an entrepreneurial environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience reviewing budgets and financial statements.
  • Proficient with the full suite of Microsoft Office products.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Must live within or be willing to relocate to Indianapolis.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and lead practice managers at each hospital within the Indianapolis region.
  • Work directly with practice managers on hospital operations, including staffing, inventory, budgeting, employee and client scheduling, marketing, employee training, and human resources.
  • Serve as a key resource and partner to the managing veterinarian at each location, building strong relationships and incorporating their feedback and goals into practice management strategies.
  • Collaborate with the Vice President of Operations to review financial reports with practice leadership teams and develop strategic plans for each practice.
  • Review non-financial reports (e.g., inventory budgets, scheduling budgets) and implement improvement plans based on the results.
  • Manage the post-acquisition integration process for newly acquired clinics.
  • Travel to practices four days per week, with one office day, and potentially travel five days a week as needed.
