Requirements

Strong communication, team-building, and leadership skills.
Highly organized and able to manage time effectively.
3+ years of experience managing multiple locations for a multi-site operator in the veterinary, dental, or medical industries.
Self-starter with the ability to work in an entrepreneurial environment and take initiative.
Strong analytical skills and experience reviewing budgets and financial statements.
Proficient with the full suite of Microsoft Office products.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
Must live within or be willing to relocate to Louisiana, Mississippi, or Alabama.

Responsibilities

Overseeing and leading practice managers at each hospital.
Working directly with practice managers on hospital operations, including staffing, inventory, budgeting, employee and client scheduling, marketing, employee training, and human resources.
Acting as a key resource and partner to the managing veterinarian at each location, building strong relationships.
Partnering with veterinarians on work with practice managers, incorporating their feedback and goals.
Collaborating with the Vice President of Operations to review financial reports with practice leadership teams and develop strategies for each practice.
Reviewing non-financial reports (inventory budgets, scheduling budgets) and driving improvement plans based on results.
Managing the post-acquisition integration process for newly acquired clinics.
Traveling to practices 4 days per week with 1 office day (potential for 5 days a week travel as needed).
