Requirements

  • Strong communication, team-building, and leadership skills.
  • Highly organized and able to manage time effectively.
  • 3+ years of experience managing multiple locations for a multi-site operator in the veterinary, dental, or medical industries.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work in an entrepreneurial environment and take initiative.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience reviewing budgets and financial statements.
  • Proficient with the full suite of Microsoft Office products.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • Must live within or be willing to relocate to Louisiana, Mississippi, or Alabama.

Responsibilities

  • Overseeing and leading practice managers at each hospital.
  • Working directly with practice managers on hospital operations, including staffing, inventory, budgeting, employee and client scheduling, marketing, employee training, and human resources.
  • Acting as a key resource and partner to the managing veterinarian at each location, building strong relationships.
  • Partnering with veterinarians on work with practice managers, incorporating their feedback and goals.
  • Collaborating with the Vice President of Operations to review financial reports with practice leadership teams and develop strategies for each practice.
  • Reviewing non-financial reports (inventory budgets, scheduling budgets) and driving improvement plans based on results.
  • Managing the post-acquisition integration process for newly acquired clinics.
  • Traveling to practices 4 days per week with 1 office day (potential for 5 days a week travel as needed).
