Requirements
- Previous veterinary reception or customer service experience preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organization and multitasking abilities
- Ability to remain calm and positive in a fast-paced environment
- Confidence using computers and learning veterinary software
- Positive attitude and team-first mindset
- Dependability, professionalism, and compassion
- A genuine passion for helping pets and the people who love them
Responsibilities
- Welcome clients and patients with warmth, professionalism, and compassion
- Answer incoming calls and assist clients with scheduling and questions
- Manage a busy multi-doctor appointment schedule
- Check clients and patients in and out efficiently
- Process payments and maintain accurate client and patient records
- Collaborate with veterinarians, technicians, and support staff to keep the hospital running smoothly
- Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients regarding appointments and hospital services
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area
- Support a positive hospital culture by offering help whenever it's needed
