The Veterinary Receptionists are the primary point of contact for clients and are crucial in supporting the medical team and patients. Requirements

  • Previous veterinary reception experience preferred
  • Knowledge of veterinary terminology and medical records
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Compassion for patients, clients, and coworkers
  • Confidence using computer software and practice management systems

Responsibilities

  • Welcome clients and patients with professionalism and compassion
  • Answer multi-line phones, emails, and client inquiries
  • Schedule appointments and manage daily hospital communications
  • Process payments and maintain accurate client and patient records
  • Coordinate client referrals and medical record requests
  • Maintain organized patient files and hospital documentation
  • Communicate effectively with veterinarians, technicians, and support staff
  • Educate clients on hospital services and basic preventive care information
  • Support daily hospital operations through organization and front desk coordination
