About The Position

Nease Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced Veterinary Receptionist to join their team in St. Augustine, Florida. This is a fast-paced, team-oriented environment that provides quality care to pets. The hospital offers a range of services including preventive care, holistic services, nutritional counseling, dentistry, soft tissue surgeries, and behavioral management. They emphasize work-life balance, operating Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., with weekends off. The hospital fosters a supportive atmosphere for career growth and a welcoming team environment.

Requirements

Minimum of 1-year veterinary experience preferred
Compassionate, Calm, Team Player, Multi-Tasker and Strong Communicator
Highly organized
Possess computer skills
Self-starter with the desire to continue to advance your knowledge and skillset

Responsibilities

Maintain the visual appeal of the hospital reception area
Greet and welcome clients and patients
Answer questions and triage client concerns
Answer calls or emails and direct to the appropriate party for resolution
Schedule appointments to maximize efficiency and daily flow
Check in and check out clients
Process payments
Offer friendly emotional support in a compassionate and discreet manner during times of need to clients
Be comfortable with various medical outcomes
Withstand unpleasant odors and noises
Be aware of potential exposure to bites, scratches, animal waste and potentially contagious diseases
