About The Position

At Pet Urgent Care of Wesley Chapel, we are dedicated to providing compassionate, timely, and comprehensive veterinary care when pets need it most. We understand that pet health concerns can arise unexpectedly, which is why we are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including major holidays, to help ensure pets receive the care and attention they deserve whenever they need it. Our team is committed to making every visit as smooth and reassuring as possible, from assessing and triaging each patient to conducting thorough examinations and discussing treatment options with pet owners. We strive to create a welcoming environment where pets and their families feel supported and cared for. Serving Wesley Chapel and surrounding communities, including Zephyrhills, Lutz, Land O’ Lakes, Dade City, Odessa, and the greater Tampa area, we provide pet ultrasound services for cats, dogs, rabbits, and pocket pets. Requirements

Minimum of 1-year veterinary experience required
Compassionate, Calm, Team Player, Multi-Tasker and Strong Communicator
Highly organized and possess computer skills
Self-starter with the desire to continue to advance your knowledge and skillset

Responsibilities

Maintain the visual appeal or the hospital reception area
Greet and welcome clients and patients
Answer questions and triage client concerns
Answer calls or emails and direct to the appropriate party for resolution
Schedule appointments to maximize efficiency and daily flow
Check in and check out clients and process payments
Offer friendly emotional support in a compassionate and discreet manner during times of need to our clients
Must be comfortable with various medical outcomes
Must be able to withstand unpleasant odors and noises
May be exposed to bites, scratches, animal waste and potentially contagious diseases
