Requirements

Previous veterinary reception experience
Strong customer service and communication skills
A friendly, compassionate, and professional approach
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
The ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a busy environment
Confidence communicating with clients in person and over the phone
The ability to remain calm and professional during stressful or emotional situations
Reliability and strong follow-through
A positive attitude and collaborative, team-first mindset
A genuine passion for helping pets and the people who love them

Responsibilities

Greet clients and patients with warmth, professionalism, and compassion
Answer phones and provide exceptional customer service
Schedule appointments and help coordinate an efficient daily workflow
Check patients in and out while maintaining accurate client and patient information
Process invoices and collect payments
Communicate hospital services, recommendations, and next steps clearly to clients
Respond to client questions and concerns with empathy and professionalism
Maintain accurate medical records and client communications
Coordinate closely with doctors, technicians, and teammates to support patient care
Maintain an organized, efficient, and welcoming front desk
Help create a positive experience for every client and patient who walks through the doors
