Requirements

Previous veterinary reception experience preferred
Strong customer service and communication skills
Critical thinking, curiosity, and a positive, can-do attitude
Professionalism and reliability in a fast-paced environment
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Confidence using computers and learning veterinary software
Ability to multitask while maintaining accuracy and compassion
Team-first mindset with a willingness to jump in wherever needed

Responsibilities

Welcome clients and patients with warmth, professionalism, and compassion
Answer multi-line phones, route calls appropriately, and respond to voicemails promptly
Schedule appointments and efficiently manage a multi-doctor appointment schedule
Check clients and patients in and out while maintaining accurate records
Process invoices, collect payments, and review treatment estimates with clients
Communicate clearly with clients regarding appointments, hospital services, and follow-up care
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area
Work closely with doctors, technicians, assistants, and fellow receptionists to keep the hospital running smoothly
Deliver an exceptional client experience during both routine and emotional visits
