About The Position
Wilmington Animal Hospital is hiring an experienced Veterinary Receptionist to join their friendly, compassionate team. As the first person clients see and the first voice they hear, the Veterinary Receptionist plays an essential role in creating exceptional experiences for both clients and their pets. Requirements
- Previous veterinary reception or medical office experience preferred
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

- Confidence using computers and learning new software

Responsibilities
- Welcome clients and patients with warmth, professionalism, and compassion
- Schedule appointments and coordinate daily hospital workflow
- Answer incoming calls and assist clients with questions and concerns
- Check patients in and out while maintaining accurate client and patient records
- Process payments and explain invoices and hospital policies
- Communicate effectively with veterinarians, technicians, and support staff
- Provide outstanding customer service during every client interaction
- Help create a welcoming, organized, and efficient front desk environment
