Experienced Veterinary Receptionist - $21 - $25/hr
About The Position
Black Mountain Animal Hospital is seeking a proactive Veterinary Receptionist to join their team. This role is crucial in providing an amazing experience to both clients and pets, serving as the first and last point of contact. The Veterinary Receptionist will use hospitality and tact to ensure clients feel welcomed, comfortable, and supported. The hospital focuses on general practice vet care and is designed to be warm, friendly, and highly positive, balancing this with a strong focus on in-house technology for innovation. They are building the next generation of veterinary clinics and are looking for someone to strengthen the human-animal bond through better pet care.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in the veterinary industry
- Experience with Avimark software is required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and ability to multitask with accuracy and efficiency
- A high comfort level typing and utilizing multiple computer systems
Responsibilities
- Greet pet parents and their four-legged friends and ensure a smooth check in and check out experience
- Manage the schedule of daily appointments and walk-ins
- Make calls and communicate via email to other Vet Practices and clients as necessary
- Keep our common areas clean and well stocked
- Provide a high level of hospitality for our pet parents, answer questions and provide information and education as needed
