About The Position

Wolftever Pet Wellness Group is seeking a Part-Time Veterinary Receptionist. We understand the strong bond between pets and their families and are committed to providing comprehensive services with state-of-the-art equipment. Our receptionists play a crucial role in maintaining the hospital's reception area, greeting clients and patients, managing communications, scheduling appointments, and processing payments. They also provide emotional support to clients during difficult times and must be comfortable with various medical outcomes and the general environment of a veterinary hospital, including potential exposure to unpleasant odors, noises, animal waste, and diseases. The role offers opportunities for virtual and hands-on training and continuing development.

Requirements

Experienced Receptionist with a minimum of 1-year veterinary experience preferred
Compassionate, Calm, Team Player, Multi-Tasker and Strong Communicator
Highly organized and possess computer skills
Self-starter with the desire to continue to advance your knowledge and skillset
Fluent in Spanish and English preferred

Responsibilities

Maintain the visual appeal of the hospital reception area
Greet and welcome clients and patients
Answer questions and triage client concerns
Answer calls or emails and direct to the appropriate party for resolution
Schedule appointments to maximize efficiency and daily flow
Check in and check out clients
Process payments
Offer friendly emotional support in a compassionate and discreet manner during times of need to clients
Be comfortable with various medical outcomes
Be able to withstand unpleasant odors and noises
May be exposed to bites, scratches, animal waste and potentially contagious diseases
