About The Position
Always Compassionate Veterinary Care is hiring a Veterinary Receptionist! This is a full-time position in Pittsburgh, PA. We are a five-doctor, AAHA-accredited small animal hospital committed to exceptional patient care and fostering a supportive workplace. We are seeking an experienced Veterinary Receptionist who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys helping people and pets, and desires to be part of a collaborative team that values professionalism, positivity, and continuous growth. Requirements
- Previous experience as a Veterinary Receptionist
- Comfort working in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to explain services, policies, and next steps clearly to clients
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle concerns with empathy
- Familiarity with veterinary terminology and hospital workflows
- Excellent attention to detail when documenting patient and client information
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
Responsibilities
- Greet clients and patients with warmth and professionalism
- Answer phones, route calls appropriately, and respond to messages promptly
- Schedule appointments and manage a multi-doctor calendar efficiently
- Check patients in and out while maintaining accurate client and patient records
- Collect payments, process invoices, and review estimates with clients
- Communicate hospital policies, pricing, and service information clearly
- Manage medical record requests, reminders, and administrative tasks
- Deliver exceptional customer service throughout every client interaction
