About The Position

Always Compassionate Veterinary Care is hiring a Veterinary Receptionist. This is a full-time position with negotiable salary based on experience. The schedule details will be discussed during the interview process. As a five-doctor, AAHA-accredited small animal hospital, we are committed to providing exceptional patient care and fostering a supportive workplace where team members can learn, grow, and enjoy their work. Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Veterinary Receptionist
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced clinical environment
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to explain services, policies, and next steps clearly to clients
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle concerns with empathy
  • Familiarity with veterinary terminology and hospital workflows
  • Excellent attention to detail when documenting patient and client information
  • Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset

Responsibilities

  • Greet clients and patients with warmth and professionalism
  • Answer phones, route calls appropriately, and respond to messages promptly
  • Schedule appointments and manage a multi-doctor calendar efficiently
  • Check patients in and out while maintaining accurate client and patient records
  • Collect payments, process invoices, and review estimates with clients
  • Communicate hospital policies, pricing, and service information clearly
  • Manage medical record requests, reminders, and administrative tasks
  • Deliver exceptional customer service throughout every client interaction
