About The Position

Animal Clinic Northview is seeking a Veterinary Receptionist - Runner to join their team in North Ridgeville, OH. This is a full-time position with a schedule of Monday-Friday, 1:00 PM-9:30 PM, and rotating Saturdays from 7:30 AM-4:00 PM. The role involves welcoming clients and patients, preparing exam rooms, supporting patient flow, and maintaining accurate medical records. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills, excellent communication and organizational abilities, and a compassionate demeanor towards animals and their owners. Responsibilities also include assisting with surgery admissions, administrative tasks, maintaining stocked and clean exam rooms, and responding to urgent situations. The role requires teamwork, cross-training, and the ability to train new team members.

Responsibilities

Welcome clients and patients
Prepare exam rooms
Support efficient patient flow throughout the hospital
Obtain patient weights
Collect appointment information
Maintain accurate medical records
Assist with surgery admissions, document processing, medication pickups, and administrative tasks
Maintain clean, organized, and fully stocked exam rooms, lobby areas, and common spaces
Communicate effectively with clients, doctors, and team members to deliver an exceptional client experience
Respond calmly and efficiently to urgent and emergency situations
Support hospital operations through teamwork, cross-training, and training new team members as needed
