Fisherville Animal Hospital is hiring an experienced Veterinary Receptionist / Assistant to join their team. Requirements

1–2 years of experience in a veterinary setting
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy environment
A compassionate, client-focused approach
Comfort working hands-on with animals
Basic computer and administrative skills

Responsibilities

Greet clients and patients with warmth and professionalism
Answer phones, route calls, and respond to voicemails promptly
Schedule appointments and manage a multi-doctor calendar efficiently
Check patients in and out while maintaining accurate records
Process payments and handle invoices
Clearly communicate hospital policies, services, and pricing
Assist veterinarians and technicians during exams and treatments
Prepare and maintain exam rooms and treatment areas
Stock supplies and communicate inventory needs
Perform general cleaning duties, including disinfecting surfaces, laundry, and end-of-day tasks
