About The Position

Pet Specialists of Monterey (PSM), a BluePearl Specialty + Emergency Pet Hospital, is an AAHA certified, state-of-the-art, 24-hour emergency and referral hospital located in beautiful Monterey, on the Central Coast of California. We are seeking a Radiology Specialist to join our emergency and specialty practice. The annual range for this position is $252,000- $295,000. Additionally, you may be eligible to earn certain production as determined in accordance with company policy. Our hospital offers a complete in-hospital diagnostic suite including a 16-slice Toshiba Aquilion CT unit, stat-lab, rigid and flexible endoscopy, ultrasound, fluoroscopy, and digital radiography. We are staffed with two surgeons, two internists, two criticalists, one cardiologist and several emergency doctors to support the practice. We are actively hiring for a neurologist and oncologist. We have a Minimally Invasive Surgery program with rigid laparoscopy, thoracoscopy, and arthroscopy and are developing an Interventional Radiology program which is a collaboration with our whole team. Candidates wishing to develop their skills or that currently have IR skills are encouraged to apply. We provide a fellowship program in Interventional Radiology, in which the ideal radiologist candidate would help to support though participation in the IR program is not required. The ideal applicant needs to be self-motivated, collaborative, and able to work harmoniously and effectively with other doctors, staff and referring veterinarians and have a good sense of humor. We have an incredible collaborative relationship with our RDVM 's, so the right candidate must be willing to interact in a variety of ways including personal visits to their practices, present CE programs, and discuss cases by phone.
