About The Position

A leading integrated healthcare system in Beckley, West Virginia is seeking a Board Certified Radiologist to join a well-established imaging department providing comprehensive inpatient and outpatient diagnostic services. This is an excellent opportunity for a Radiologist seeking strong clinical support, a predictable weekday schedule, and the ability to contribute to quality initiatives, interdisciplinary collaboration, and program development — all without call, weekend, or holiday responsibilities.

Requirements

MD or DO from an accredited institution
Board Certified in Radiology
Active, unrestricted U.S. medical license
DEA license
BLS certification
Strong communication and collaboration skills

Nice To Haves

Experience interpreting virtual colonoscopies and cardiac CT angiography (or willingness to learn)
Experience supervising trainees or advanced practice providers
Strong interest in quality improvement and interdisciplinary collaboration

Responsibilities

Interpret and report a wide range of imaging studies with clinical correlation
Review and optimize imaging protocols based on appropriateness criteria
Provide diagnostic services across: Diagnostic Radiology, CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, Interventional Radiology
Communicate critical and time-sensitive findings promptly
Support radiation safety and imaging quality initiatives
Participate in peer review, QA activities, MRI safety, and protocol review
Collaborate with referring providers on exam selection and imaging interpretation
Participate in multidisciplinary conferences, including Tumor Board discussions
Assist with strategic planning, education, and continuous improvement initiatives
