Veterinary Radiologist
About The Position
BluePearl Fort Myers is looking to add a Veterinary Radiologist to their team! Our 18,000 square foot hospital is a 24 hour emergency and specialty hospital that has been leading the area in veterinary medicine since 2011. Our hospital offers spacious working environment with onsite 64 slice CT and in-building 1.5 T MRI. We have fluoroscopy, arthroscopy, laparoscopy, chemo hood, two ultrasound units, digital cytology, endoscopy, and two radiology suites. Our growing team includes surgery, internal medicine, oncology, and emergency. We have developed an excellent team dynamic within our hospital all striving to provide the best patient care possible. BluePearl Fort Myers has a group of highly skilled technicians that aid in the development of training and growing our assistants. The whole team strives to provide the best possible care for our patients. We have all developed a strong bond here at the hospital where here you are family.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent.
- Board certification or eligibility in Veterinary Radiology.
- Proficiency in interpreting diagnostic imaging studies (CT, MRI, X-ray, Ultrasound).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a specialty or emergency veterinary hospital.
- Experience with fluoroscopy, arthroscopy, laparoscopy, or endoscopy.
- Familiarity with chemotherapy protocols.
- Interest in leadership development.
Responsibilities
- Provide diagnostic imaging services using advanced equipment.
- Collaborate with a team of specialists in surgery, internal medicine, oncology, and emergency.
- Utilize state-of-the-art technology including 64 slice CT, 1.5 T MRI, fluoroscopy, ultrasound, and digital cytology.
- Contribute to the training and development of veterinary technicians and assistants.
- Participate in clinical studies and research opportunities.
- Engage in continuous learning and professional development.
