About The Position

GiaCare Inc. is accepting applications from Board-Certified Radiologists for a future opportunity supporting Evans Army Community Hospital at Fort Carson, Colorado. This position is being recruited in anticipation of contract award. Qualified candidates will be considered for employment upon contract award. Join a collaborative diagnostic imaging team providing comprehensive radiology services to active duty service members, military retirees, and their families. This position offers the opportunity to interpret a broad range of diagnostic imaging studies while supporting exceptional patient care in a military treatment facility.

Requirements

  • U.S. Citizen
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
  • Successful completion of an ACGME-accredited Radiology Residency
  • Current, full, active, unrestricted medical license
  • Minimum 24 months of active diagnostic radiology practice within the past 36 months
  • Demonstrated current clinical competency in all radiology modalities through clinical activity logs
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or willing to obtain)
  • Current American Board of Radiology (ABR) or American Osteopathic Board of Radiology (AOBR) certification
  • Diplomates enrolled in Maintenance of Certification (MOC) must remain current

Nice To Haves

  • Experience interpreting high-volume diagnostic imaging studies
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Experience using military or enterprise PACS/RIS systems

Responsibilities

  • Interpret a wide variety of diagnostic imaging studies, including radiography, CT, MRI, ultrasound, fluoroscopy, nuclear medicine, mammography, and bone densitometry
  • Perform diagnostic radiology procedures within the scope of granted clinical privileges
  • Communicate significant findings promptly to referring providers
  • Provide consultation to physicians regarding imaging studies and patient care
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation within the electronic medical record
  • Participate in quality assurance and peer review activities
  • Ensure compliance with military treatment facility policies and professional standards
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes
