This role involves partnering with the Medical Director to oversee daily operations, foster a positive team culture, and ensure exceptional patient and client experiences. Requirements

Veterinary hospital leadership experience
Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams
Strong business and financial acumen
Excellent communication and coaching skills — and a demonstrated track record of resolving conflict and difficult conversations in person
High emotional intelligence
Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
A passion for developing people
A continuous improvement mindset
Comfort operating within established, informal team norms while helping build clearer structure over time
Experience managing a multi-doctor veterinary hospital
Experience building a new partnership with clinical leadership

Responsibilities

Recruit, hire, coach, and retain an outstanding veterinary team.
Foster a culture built on trust, accountability, respect, and continuous improvement.
Conduct regular one-on-one meetings and performance coaching.
Develop future leaders within the hospital.
Handle difficult conversations, client complaints, and team conflict live and in person.
Oversee daily hospital operations and workflow.
Optimize scheduling and staffing.
Ensure operational consistency and efficiency.
Maintain inventory and vendor relationships.
Support a safe, organized, and compliant hospital environment.
Manage labor, inventory, and operating expenses.
Monitor hospital KPIs and identify opportunities for improvement.
Partner with the Medical Director to grow the practice while maintaining exceptional patient care.
Make data-driven decisions that strengthen both the business and the team.
Champion an exceptional client experience.
Support team members during busy periods.
Take ownership of client service, patient care, and employee engagement outcomes across the hospital.
Build lasting relationships within the Roseville community.
