Veterinary Practice Manager

Requirements
- Veterinary hospital leadership experience
- Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams
- Strong business and financial acumen
- Excellent communication and coaching skills
- Demonstrated track record of resolving conflict and difficult conversations in person

- Experience managing a multi-doctor veterinary hospital
- Experience building a new partnership with clinical leadership
Responsibilities
- Partner with the Medical Director to lead daily hospital operations and ensure exceptional experiences for patients, clients, and team members.
- Recruit, hire, coach, and retain an outstanding veterinary team.
- Foster a culture built on trust, accountability, respect, and continuous improvement.
- Conduct regular one-on-one meetings and performance coaching.
- Develop future leaders within the hospital.
- Handle difficult conversations, client complaints, and team conflict live and in person.
- Co-own hospital direction and decisions with the Medical Director.
- Communicate proactively and directly with the Medical Director.
- Oversee daily hospital operations and workflow.
- Optimize scheduling and staffing.
- Ensure operational consistency and efficiency.
- Maintain inventory and vendor relationships.
- Support a safe, organized, and compliant hospital environment.
- Manage labor, inventory, and operating expenses.
- Monitor hospital KPIs and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Partner with the Medical Director to grow the practice while maintaining exceptional patient care.
- Make data-driven decisions that strengthen both the business and the team.
- Champion an exceptional client experience.
- Support team members during busy periods.
- Take ownership of client service, patient care, and employee engagement outcomes across the hospital.
- Build lasting relationships within the Roseville community.
